2025 El Nino Southern Oscillation Weekly Tracking

2025 is starting at -0.7 degree C similar as 1872, 1873, 1889 and 2023. These were years following La Nina years. 1899 and 2023 ended as positive with 2023 as strong EL Nino. 1872 and 1873 ended La Nina.  La Nina is deveeloping similar to 1962 with potential drought in spring 2026 for South Florida with respective La Nina impacts on other parts of the globe.
